Yet another one of The Bass Palace 'Experimental Series' basses enters the fold and she's a beauty! Maybe it's just plain luck or good design but if this keeps up I am DEFINITELY going yo have these built for inventory purposes. This one features an alder body that was air dried for over 35 years. The sapphire metallic is a totally unique color that I have not seen used elsewhere and trust me, it looks even better in-person. I chose not to relic this bass because of the aged body and it truly sounds as good as any 70's P I have ever played. Nothing fancy, just an older Schaller pickup in a passive setup and a really straight maple neck with medium frets. Weighs in at 8 3/4 lbs which if you want my opinion is the IDEAL weight range for a Fender-style bass.
